Deja serves as an Investigator at The Walton Firm, where she assists the firm's attorneys in matters involving IRS examinations, civil tax controversies, criminal tax investigations, and regulatory compliance. As an Enrolled Agent, she conducts detailed financial analyses, reviews tax returns and supporting documentation, identifies potential compliance issues, and helps develop investigative strategies that support the firm's representation of taxpayers and tax professionals.
With a strong background in tax preparation, tax resolution, bookkeeping, and accounting support, Deja brings extensive experience in analyzing financial records and reconstructing complex tax matters. Her expertise enables her to uncover critical facts, organize evidence, and assist in preparing cases for administrative proceedings, litigation, and criminal tax defense. She holds a bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Accounting with a concentration in Financial Reporting, further strengthening her technical and investigative expertise.
