Ja"Kara serves as a legal intern at the Walton Firm.
Ja'Kara is an ambitious college junior with a drive to advocate for justice and make a positive impact on society through the legal system. While studying at The University of Alabama, she intends on obtaining a degree in criminal justice with the minors of psychology and political science.
Ja'Kara has maintained being on the president's list every semester, and has received honors for academic excellence from the Black Faculty & Student Association. She aspires to use the power of law to uphold fundamental rights and ensure equality for all by becoming an attorney. She is particularly interested in being involved with juveniles. Ja'Kara works best under pressure and thrives in competitive environments.
Aside from her studies, she works two jobs and is also a mentor for other first-generation students on campus. Ja'Kara is a new dog mom and enjoys spending time reading books when her puppy doesn't have her attention.
