Karen Stubbs serves as a Fraud Investigator at The Walton Firm, where she focuses on tax professional compliance, due diligence audits, and criminal tax defense. She works closely with the firm’s attorneys to review tax returns, analyze financial records, identify compliance concerns, and support defense strategies for tax professionals facing IRS scrutiny.

Karen is an Enrolled Agent and accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in compliance, audit, and financial operations. Her background includes senior roles with Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Fleet Bank, and GK Venture Partners, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and executive leadership.

As Founder and CEO of Right Path Accounting Solutions LLC, Karen brings practical experience in tax preparation, strategic tax planning, and IRS resolution matters, including Offers in Compromise and installment agreements. Her experience as a tax business owner gives her valuable insight into the professional responsibilities and business pressures facing the tax professionals the firm defends.

Karen earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College and holds the Enrolled Agent credential issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
